New Info About “DARK SIDE OF THE SUN” Album
In two weeks Tokio Hotel will be in Tokyo to promote their “Dark side of the sun” that is being released on 2th February. “Monzun Magazine” staff had the opportunity to check the CD and booklet and they said there are new band photos !

Tokio Hotel has waited eight years for this moment: In mid December, announced the launch of the “Best Of” CD for the first time in Tokyo, the city that gave the name of the band. The band were thrilled with the Japanese metropolis: “The city is great, terribly large areas, multiple colors and crazy. I really want to go there.” Bill said.
TH fans in Europe will have to continue to see them on TV: Tokio Hotel don’t plan any concerts here in 2011. Tom: “We are isolated in our studio in Los Angeles, working on new songs.” The new album will be released in September, a world tour is scheduled for November. Bill promises: “We will surprise even more the fans with a new style and special sounds!”
What do you expect of Tokio Hotel in 2011?
This band has won many awards and are very important in their native country, hardly anyone is well known outside a part of the German singer “Nena.” They have managed to fight and that’s why they deserve a 2011 tour full of prizes and CD `s.

Bill : “Tokyo is a place that we have really dreamed of coming to see. Now that we have been able to come, I’m really happy.”
They said that they just thought a Japanese sounding name would be cool, thus Tokio Hotel. In 2001 in a city in Eastern Germany, 12-year-old brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz formed the band. As soon as they debuted in 2005 they became very popular in Europe. Now they have won numerous awards and people go crazy for them all over the world. Now they are in Tokyo and check into the place that their band name originated from. They have become successful in Japan, and so they are releasing an album in Japan.
Tom : “The album is comprised of songs from our other albums. (After that he’s pretty much saying it’s like the “Scream” English album, it’s so that people that are first hearing about them can easily get to know the music.)”
Bill : “Because the album artwork also has Japanese characteristics, hopefully people that know our stuff can (also) enjoy the content.”
You can of course also hear the bands growth, and many different sounds (styles probably) in the album. Although metal and techno are popular beats in Germany, Tokio Hotel is a unique fascinating “groove”.
Bill : “We aren’t restricted by common sense, we always search for a new “groove”. So of course that’s why the songs feel like they have different moods.”
Tom : “I don’t know how the band will change next, however that’s the charm of this band. Therefore in the future perhaps we will make songs that don’t have metal and techno in them. It seems that the band has the freedom to do that (change their sound).”
The reason the freedom of the band is respected, they all have different visual “atmospheres”. (It’s just saying they all have different styles and that they respect that -I think-). Even among them, Bill has a sexy, mysterious appearance that is impressive. In fact in the past he was a model in a fashion show. By the way today he is wearing fake fur and pants by Dior (I think).
Bill : “The fur is fake because I’m a vegetarian. Regarding fashion I wear only what I want to. But my fashion is also a musical expression. I try to watch out for style that seems like it will give motivation to everybody.”

Ambassador Takahiro Shinyo in a talk to the German-Japanese relations talked about Tokio Hotel and a possible concert in February in Japan. Although there are rumors that the band have several events programed for February in Japan, nothing is confirmed.
“We want to strengthen the already lively youth exchange. It is very important to know immediately. This we must encourage the young generation. Diary of the brothers Kaulitz !
Tokio Hotel will never leave their fans out of their hands. They are always releasing new CD ! Since 2001, has recorded six studio albums and live three. Now, just released for sale on CD The Best Of. Co-produced by the brothers Kaulitz, the album has 18 songs, which range throughout the history of the band. Could not miss “Dark Side of the Sun”, “Ready Set Go!” and “Humanoid”. It also has romantic ones as “By Your Side” and “Rescue Me. ” And a surprise: two new songs. “Hurricanes and suns”, made in 2009, had never come to light and now even has an amazing video on the official website of the band. Jeroen Darquenne, a professor at the University of Namur speaking at a conference on the theme of the German language abroad.
Darquenne: The role of German language in the complex fabric of our western neighbor is widely used in the talks after all, and is the German, in addition to French and Dutch, one of the three official languages that in Belgium are given.
